Here we go again!
Election season kicked off in July with the opening of candidate filing at City Hall. District 1, along with Districts 3,4,6 and the Mayor's office, will be on the ballot in November when City voters will have the opportunity to make their voices heard.
When the City went to Council District in 2019, District 1 was randomly selected to be a short term (two years) in order to keep Council elections staggered. This means November's ballot will be a nearly city-wide choice for Orange voters.
On July 19, Arianna Barrios "pulled paper" to officially begin her re-elect bid. Surrounded by her family, Barrios will be walking neighborhoods once again to speak with voters and earn their votes to continue the work of managing the City.
